Applications

automated-guided-vehicle built with magnetic guide sensorAn automated guided vehicle (AGV) can be built with as little as two Roboteq components: An MGS1600 magnetic guide sensor, and one of the many dual channel motor controllers available in Roboteq’s catalog. This application note will use a Roboteq MDC2230 dual channel controller, however the techniques described are identical for all other controller models.

Integration, handshake with tooling and robotics are often incorporated into this type of system emulating a fully Poka yoke build line.

Our systems transport a wide range of components, AGV's can be designed to cater for almost any application, this may include incorporating a conveyor into the AGV to automatically receive parts from one conveyor and deliver to another, dolly towing, deposit & collection.

We have a standard AGV product but also cater for bespoke solutions from the ground up which enables the clients specifications to be at the forefront of the design.
